Get to know how the different reporting variants work in Lucanet itself and in combination with MS Excel. You will create different reports on actual and planned values including pivot tables in MS Excel in a group example.

We will show you how to automate existing reports to replace manual preparation as far as possible. For this purpose, you will obtain valuable tips from our experts, in particular on the best suitable report variants.

You will find out how simple reporting can be - for example whenever important reports are requested at short notice.

Target group

  • With this basic training, you will get to know how the different reporting variants work in Lucanet itself and in combination with MS Excel. You will be able to prepare different reports yourself.
  • Ideally, you will have already gained some initial experience in using Lucanet or have taken part in our online training "Consolidation and Financial Planning Fundamentals".
  • The course is suitable for refreshing your basic knowledge and training new employees.

 

Note: The course is available for use in the Lucanet Learning Space for a maximum duration of 12 months. Once this period is up, you should have worked through all the learning modules, downloaded any learning material you want to keep, and completed the course.

  • Windows PC or Apple computer with sound card
  • Internet connection (a DSL connection is recommended)
  • Speakers, headphones or headset
  • Microphone and possibly webcam

 

Course procedure

 

Note: The registration deadline is 14 days before the start of the live training (subject to available spots).

Agenda/content

  1. You analyze existing data using various view and evaluation options.
  2. You create ad hoc reports using Lucanet's reporting and export features.
  3. You use Lucanet.Excel-Add-In to automatically fill and update predefined report layouts, e.g., for bank reporting.
  4. You use Lucanet.Excel-Reporting to quickly create and send uniform report formats for different companies and periods, e.g., for management reporting.
  5. You access data in Lucanet using BI integration and create pivot tables in MS Excel.
