In the following interview, the board members give an insight into the historical origin and development of LucaNet AG:

As a student granted a scholarship from the foundation Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes, Moll studied Business Administration and focussed on the subjects Controlling, Business Informatics and Statistics at the Free University of Berlin and the Ingolstadt-based Economics Faculty of Eichstätt Catholic University.
Directly after his university course, Rolf-Jürgen Moll became a self-employed management consultant and supported various Groups in their IPOs. The experience gained as a result, in particular the insight that the drawing up of Group financial statements and Group controlling should be carried out within a single and integrated data model, gave rise to the joint establishment of LucaNet AG with Oliver Schmitz in 1999.
Rolf-Jürgen Moll is responsible for the Product and IT Division.

After training as a bank clerk at a private bank in Düsseldorf, Oliver Schmitz studied Business Administration at the Ingolstadt-based Economics Faculty of Eichstätt Catholic University and University College Dublin, Ireland.
Following his university course he took up a position as audit manager of an international tax consultancy and auditing company. The practical experience gained during that time in respect of Group accounting gave rise to the joint establishment of LucaNet AG with Rolf-Jürgen Moll in 1999.
Oliver Schmitz is responsible for the Consulting, Finance, Human Resources and Organization Divisions.

Dominik Duchon studied Business Administration and focussed on Controlling, Capital Market Research and Financing at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich and the University of British Columbia, Canada. Following his university course he worked for a renowned management consulting company in the Financial Services segment and focussed on Risk Management, Basel II and Accounting until he moved to LucaNet AG in the capacity of consultant in 2005. Dominik Duchon has been responsible for marketing and distribution in the capacity of Director Sales from 2008.
Dominik Duchon has been a management board member since 2010 and is responsible for the Sales and Marketing & PR Divisions.
